Overrated but nice

Lovely building externally and the bar and restaurant area but the room was a let down. Bathroom was very dated and bed not exactly comfortable.

The staff was lovely and the hotel was gorgeous. It was incredibly dog friendly and the staff made me feel comfortable with my two dogs and even found a place for me to sit with them for breakfast and gave them bones. I was surprised at how large the balcony was for the Garden Suite. The jacuzzi tub was huge as well. The surrounding area is wooden and beautiful but not too far away from restaurants.

A real find

A characterful gem of a hotel with an excellent restaurant and attentive staff hidden among attractive woodlands. A real find in my opinion.
