「This place was adorable. Just like the photos. Bed comfortable and full size was fine for me and my husband. Check in was a breeze. Clear instructions for check in and out. Well stocked. We could hear footsteps and the toilet flush upstairs but no big deal. Nothing I can think of to change. We hope to come back!」

「Very close to all things Charlottesville. Right next to Monticello ,Mitchie Tavern and hiking trails. Also Jefferson Winery and Bold Rock/Carter Mountain Orchard. Just a very short drive to downtown. It is very quiet and peaceful spot. Very clean and updated. Owner was very inviting and easy to contact.」

「Great location for a weekend getaway in Charlottesville. Beautiful and comfortable house. We knew in advance the train rolls by a couple times a day so was not surprised. It was fine for us but definitely rattles the house. A few things would put it over the top. More than 4 hangers for the whole house. Hooks in the bathrooms for towels. Couple sharp knives. Overall a very try nice stay and recommend it.」

「Although not the property I intended I'm renting, property management was diligent and finding a replacement, I was uncomfortable and sitting on the quaint they're simply because of the number cobweb on the deck underneath the home. Not so much a property issue but more of a resort issue, I made a reservation for a horse-drawn carriage ride only for them to cancel it 30 minutes prior because of lack of carriage availability.」

Unfortunately, we didn’t know we had to book most things (horseback riding, golf cart reservations) well in advance as there was no guidance and this was our first time there. It would have been nice to get accompanying info on reserving/booking in advance. The resort had an event the weekend we stayed, making it very busy and congested, but going a less busy weekend would have been better. The yurt was nice, but neighboring yurt...

「April reservation for July was canceled 2 days prior to check in. Still waiting on 1 day credit after being upgraded for 2 days. Check in is at 4 but cabin wasn’t ready until 6:15 even though previous tenants left the night before. Employees were not friendly at all. No fireworks on the 4th as told on phone. It was quite a fiasco. I would not recommend it. Better value at a beach」

「Great location in Orange County Va farm land very close to many attractions and with in reach to Charlottesville for a day trip via country road route 20 ( no traffic lights). The cottage is an outbuilding on the Bloomingdale Farm property that is surround by working farms. The view from the porch is peaceful and relaxing with the Blue Ridge off in the distance. 「A group of us gathered for a bit of a staycation from the Richmond area. We had a ladies night on Friday and we honestly couldn't have asked for a better location!! Saturday we had some other friends join us for food on the water and it was the most relaxing setting for us to reset and connect.
