“We spent one night here, beautiful guesthouse. Quiet, safe and very comfortable beds. Hostess was very friendly, breakfast was wonderful.”

“We stayed here for one night en route to the wine area. Great place to break our journey after driving from Prince Albert, via Swartberg Pass and Cango Caves. Enjoyed a drink on terrace watching sunset over the mountains, before having a lovely meal, cooked and served by the owners. Breakfast on terrace was fresh and tasty too”

“The road to and from the cottages is challenging for some. I was not fussed but my wife is scared of heights and in some parts was anxious of the sheer drop. The cottage takes you back in time as there is no electricity, hot water or mobile phone reception. I really enjoyed the seclusion and quietness but this may not be for everyone. The 'donkey' to have hot water takes me back to my childhood as it requires tender loving care and lots of patience and time. Here again, not for everyone but if……

“Pros: Einmalige Lage, extrem gute und persönliche Guides, der Bushwalk war hervorragend, man ist wirklich für sich alleine und fernab von "Game Reserves", welche möglichst viele Big-5-Tiere in irgendwelchen Sektionen halten, leckeres Essen, value for money! Contra: Geläde schwer zu erreichen und unzureichend beschildert, W-LAN gab es entgegen der Ankündigungen nicht, Pool war schmutzig”

“The property is far from town situated on a dirt road (15 km) and fairly dangerous to drive at night. We decided not to stay there and used alternative accommodation in town. This was not known to me when I made the booking, the road condition must be detailed on the website... ”
