Exceptional location for this house completely renovated in 2016 She is- by the sea immediately: the end of the garden is the beach of fine sand !! ....calm assured, parking, private garden of 1100 m2 with natural lawn and plantations of Mediterranean species. Garden shower. Possibility of mooring a boat in front of the house. Terrace shaded by a natural pergola. Outdoor lounge furniture, masonry barbecue, outdoor teak dining furniture.
Interior composition: living room with mezzanine, fireplace, flat screen, dining room, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, combi oven, induction, fridge USA.
The first room with sea view: double bed 2x90 cm + bathroom (washbasin, bath,) + WC + alcoves with 2 bunk beds (2x 80 cm) chestnut wood.
The second bedroom with double bed 160 cm + shower room (washbasin, shower) + WC + alcove with 2 bunk beds (2x80 cm) chestnut wood, separate toilet.
The third bedroom double bed 160 cm + shower room (washbasin, shower) and separate toilet.
The fourth bedroom: in the attic and adjacent to the mezzanine bed 160 cm. It is extended by a terrace with a breathtaking view of the entire gulf. In the open air on the terrace there is a sink and a shower.
In the mezzanine, there is a convertible sofa bed 140 cm.
Each room has reverse air conditioning, super equipped wardrobe and a private terrace.
The style is minimalist in a typical Corsican spirit with raw and authentic materials: smooth concrete on the ground, desk shelf in raw concrete chambers, chestnut logs, clay plaster. Air conditioning reverses throughout the house. Luxury taps. Concrete barbecue. Garden shower in the trees. Wireless. Possibility of accommodation for 12 people + 2 in the mezzanine.
This house "feet in water" with the Mediterranean as a natural pool, you will spend an exceptional holiday with its direct access to the sandy beach, its private garden and the atmosphere completely exotic of its interior.

Entspannter Strandurlaub für die ganze Familie

Das beste Ferienhaus, das wir je hatten! Stilvoll, modern und dennoch gemütlich eingerichtet, eine gelungene Mischung aus alt und neu. Eine traumhafte Lage direkt am Strand. Freiheit für Kinder und Hunde 😉 Auch super gelegen, um Ausflüge zu den herrlichen Gumpen in den Bergen oder zu den bekannten Stränden und Hafenstädten im Süden zu unternehmen. Die Vermieterin ist unglaublich nett und hilfsbereit! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Vielen Dank für diesen tollen Urlaub!

A really super place right on a little used sandy beach. Perfection!

The house is modern and a new build - lost at the far end of the drive through the Vardiola Residences - so no traffic noise, passers-by or road hazard. Comfortable bedrooms with ensuite/adjacent shower/baths and fully air-con. Upstairs - a twin with a generous balcony on which you can sunbathe and take a shower with a view. The style is stripped, rustic and bare with natural wood features inside and a delightful, vine and natural wood branch covered veranda. The garden has an outside shower under an oak tree to take off salt and sand. The oak tree comes with its own woodpecker, frogs and wild tortoises! Access to the beach is immediate and private. We had a cracking time: 3 weeks of great barbecues on the veranda; snorkelling in the bay with many fish, eels and even an octopus right in front of the house (remember to take bread with you to feed them!); 45 minute drive to Ospedale and 1.15 hour to Bavella for hiking and canyoning; 25 minutes up to Tagliu Rossu to swim in the river pools. Pinarellu is 15 mins by walk along the beach (or car - the road runs a long way inland). The airport at Figari is one hour away. The owners could not have been more helpful or friendly - a cleaner and handyman on call to resolve any problem real time (we managed to trip a few fuses, blow the internet subscription, lock ourselves out etc): if you've been to Corsica and have endured the usual indifferent / shoddy local service, you will appreciate what a rarity that is. A fantastic place for family & friends holiday. My only regret in giving such a good review is that it will be harder to book next year. We almost cried as we drove away...

Overall very disappointing experience

After long travel from the US to Corsica we arrived late night at the house where we were greeted by the host's daughter and son-in-law. After next to zero-instructions on how things work, the next morning we woke up to a house with zero supplies, not even the very basics such as dishwashing soap, sponges, salt, oil, etc. After complaining (we had a very different experience in this regards just a couple of miles away) we were told that this is the way it is, well pretty lame! So we had to spend the whole morning shopping for basic supplies, not quite what we had in mind doing during our precious vacation time. Next, we had to spend hours figuring out by ourselves how appliances, Internet, cable TV etc were working as nobody came by to show us. Eventually on the third day some friend of the host showed up and we got everything going. But most disappointing was in what shape we found the house. Considering that host claims that the house was fully renovated in 2016 we found the house in a very poor shape. There was mold on the walls in the bathroom, water stains on the floors, faucet in kitchen only providing a trickle of cold water, mousetraps left by previous occupants suggesting a vermin problem, broken windows, apart from an overall dirty impression of all the appliances, and the list could go on. The host's response to all the problems was that since nobody was there at the handover, she could not confirm all the damages, implicitly telling us that we might have been responsible for them. How disingenuous! So overall, this was a very disappointing experience to the point that I had asked for money back which, of course, never happened.
