"Our room was adorable and so clean. The air conditioning worked really well! The rest of the hotel was beautiful and we liked the “old” feel of it. The woman on staff was so helpful, giving us gluten free restaurant recommendations and helping us with navigating places with our luggage. Breakfast was simple and delicious. Highly recommend!"

"Great hotel, with a a fantastic location very close to the heart of the old town. Excellent family room with 2 bedrooms and all in excellent order. Also had an excellent breakfast. Only slight disappointment was the gym, 2 of the machines were out of order and we specifically booked this hotel as it had a gym, but was still useable. Would definitely recommend."

"This hotel was very central and mostly everything was walkable. Rooms were spacious and very clean and all the staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful. The breakfast had an excellent variety and choice. The only thing I would say, and this isn’t really a complaint, was that the air conditioning was behind the curtains which meant the cool air stayed at the window instead of circulating around the room."

"So glad we chose “The Hotel” Great location below the castle and on the river’s edge. Shopping, cafes and restaurants of old town Ljubljana a-plenty on the doorstep. Friendly helpful staff. “The Restaurant” served superb food. Highly recommend."

"We had a great stay at Hotel Jama. The rooms were very comfortable and clean, but the highlight is the location—it is literally a 3-minute walk to the entrance of Postojna Cave, which made sightseeing effortless. On-site parking was straightforward at €10 per day. We also tried the dinner buffet at the hotel restaurant; while €32 per person is a bit on the pricier side, the quality and variety of the food made it completely worth it. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the caves!"

"I had a perfect stay at Hotel Heritage. The hotel is in an amazingly convenient location for those wanting to explore Ljubljana. As such, it is in a pedestrian-only portion of the city, but the staff helped me find the most convenient spot for car arrival and departure. Indeed, the staff were helpful and attentive throughout (and before) my stay. I am female solo traveler, and I felt safe during my entire time at the hotel. The breakfast spread was also varied and delicious! I’d recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Slovenia’s capital."
