We liked everything about the property, the staff, and the surrounding area. It's in a great location. The hotel is in excellent condition and spotless. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Definitely had a great stay and would certainly book it again when in Zurich.

Nice hotell in good location, free minibar (Nice!). Well isolated concerning sound (quiet). Ok breakfast. Only bad thing was aircondition which even at highest setting made the room temperature ok (was 20 degrees outside).

Hotel Alexander is in the center of restaurant rows, close to the train station and shopping that makes it very convenient for guests. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely stay again here on our next visit to Zurich.

Very impressed with this hotel. We booked a twin room and arrived around midnight to a friendly and efficient welcome. The room was a good size and the complementary first stocking of the mini-bar was a pleasant surprise. There's also a hot drinks machine in reception that's available for use. Lots of towels, comfortable bed and a good shower, though I cut my leg on the sharp corners of the beds - so beware of those! Breakfast was complementary and offered a good, well-stocked selection of all the usual items. Overall, much better than a standard 3* hotel and I'd return again.

The location of the hotel couldn't be better. Easy walk to the train station, easy access to the trams. Front desk people are so pleasant and knowledgeable. The breakfast everyday was wonderful and fresh. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Easily walk from Zurich HB our take a tram to hotel with just two stops. Rooms are clean and breakfast is very good. Small hotel but centrally located. I can easily walk to the water adn see beautiful view both day and night. I just stay for one night but they offer me a free parking. Recommend stay even for one single day stay.

Good location, Mostly Friendly staff (Did not care for the attitude of the man that was at the front desk on Wed Aug 3rd in the evening, he was rude. Otherwise the front desk staff was exceptional especially the lady that checked us in on Mon Aug 1st. Location was perfect. Breakfast was good.

Very Good Hotel in excellent location

Hotel is in a very central location in old town. Room was modern, comfortable and clean. I felt the a/c was not cooling enough and they inmediately placed a fan in our room which helped to circulate the cool air. So I must recognize they have very good service. Also, I like they included breakfast with eggs, bacon and sausages.
