The air con duct is very noisy and especially obvious at night. I have to switch off the air con in order to sleep

We stayed here for 3 nights. The check in was straight forward and easy. Friendly host. However i believe this is a case of, you get what you pay for. We went medium budget and felt this is what was we got in return. Whilst the bathrooms and apartment itself was very large, 1 bathroom wasnt very clean and 1 bathroom had no hot water. Also no mattress protector on the mattress', so my 3 year old son had an accident and wet the bed and it went straight through the sheets to the mattress. I messaged the host at 10am requesting new sheets and was not replied to until late that day. Lovely rooftop pool.

Star suites is what happens when accommodation is designed with social media in mind not guests. Looks great in photos, but the real experience falls way short. Our room was neither what was advertised nor fit to stay in. We will be raising a complaint. The room was advertised as premium and described as having one twin room and one queen sized room. Photos showed two light and airy rooms with views over the city plus a well equipped living area. The "queen bedroom" appeared to be a walk in wardrobe with a standard single (not queen) jammed in . Nothing else, because there was no room for anything else. The doors, switches and controls clearly show this was never intended as a room let alone the one advertised. To make the room worse, plumbing for the floor above ran through the room. Every toilet flush or use of shower sounded like a waterfall in the room. Waking us every 10 minutes. The room was also dirty. Old food from past guests on the floor. Sheets didn't fit the bed. I spend 25+ nights a year in hotels/aparthotels. My two at Star Suites were the worst in recent memory. We informed staff of the room issues. No-one cared. We informed staff of the noise issues - they admitted a problem but solved nothing. Also be warned that Star Suites will demand cash deposit on arrivals, which is not in the terms at all when you book. This caused significant issues for us. 2* is generous and mostly only because the location is so good.
