ere is a draft for a highly critical, realistic online review based on those specific complaints: ★☆☆☆☆ Disappointing Stay — Unwelcoming Staff and Tired Facilities I rarely write negative reviews, but our recent stay at the Naviti Resort was deeply disappointing, especially given the cost. The biggest letdown by far was the service. We chose Fiji expecting the warm, world-famous hospitality the islands are known for, but instead, we were met with a generally cold, unwelcoming atmosphere. Front desk staff on arrival were dismissive and unhelpful when we had a minor billing discrepancy, making us feel like an inconvenience rather than paying guests. Throughout the week, the staff at the buffet and bar areas seemed entirely unbothered and exhausted, getting a simple drink order or assistance felt like pulling teeth. When it rained there is nowhere to shelter other than your room. Overall, the lack of effort from the team and the poor state of the resort made this a stressful trip rather than a relaxing vacation. We will not be returning and would recommend looking elsewhere on the Coral Coast.

The staff were all very friendly and kind. Our in room fridge didn’t seem to work and our door didn’t seem to lock on arrival. We brought this up to the front desk and people were up to fix these issues immediately. Had a great balcony overlooking the beach. The room was convenient with an in room washer and dryer unit, a stove, and a dishwasher.

all good – the pool was cold. The hot tub wasn’t working, but the room was fine. Restaurant meals were adequate.

Lovely hotel (stayed 10 yrs ago without children) but this time it seemed a bit tired and the service just didn’t hit the mark for us. We’ve done Fiji every year now at other resorts and were really disappointed by their professionalism and friendliness which has not been the standard elsewhere. When we arrived our child was asleep so carrying him and getting our luggage up stairs to check in, not one person was there to greet us. Kids club was mediocre, our son only went twice because he didn’t want to go. It felt like an underground bunker with no view. Not a great vibe, the carers were unfriendly. Bar and restaurant lacked ambience to us that we went elsewhere each night. If you wanted a drink you had to search for someone to make an order. Room was nice and clean but shower was flooding and needed fixing our first night. They gratefully fixed it the next morning. Pools are lovely but colder than you’d expect. This feels like a winge post, it wasn’t all that bad but those were the key things that stood out that weren’t what we were expecting. And if you have children my recommendation is that there are better resorts out there. Otherwise love Fiji and it’s a super winter escape!
