parking not easy to find as the hotel is located on a car -free street.the girl from the reception came out the hotel to show us where to go exactly.issue with the their website or translation ( Japan /English and Japan/ French ) as we booked the hotel in advance and paid as well (5 month before our trip).When we asked in Decembre 2025 if meal was included they confirmed by email it was.Once in Japan they sent us an email the day before we arrive saying they noticed the breakfast and evening meal were in fact not included and they need additional money! as it was a Sunday we had no other choice to accept the increase.
Our room was clean, quiet and all floors are made with tatami so you need to use sleepers provided to walk everywhere.

朝食の味も良かったが、伝統工芸品と思しき物凄く立派な器で出てきて感動した。飯碗と汁椀を買って帰りたかった。

This is a completely new facility in an old warehouse district of Sakate on Shodoshima. Right on the water, the views from the hotel are stunning.
The staff is courteous, helpful, and professional.
The rooms are spacious, with sitting areas and balconies, but also a bit quirky in design.
We had one dinner at the hotel and two breakfasts. The food was excellent--and reasonably priced.
I would happily return to this hotel, given the opportunity.
