Clean room. VERY old towels. Ants in the room.

Honestly disappointing experience. The service was very poor, with lack of staff acknowledgement and overall care for guests. Arrived without anyone greeting us or offering for us to put our bags down while we waited 30 minutes to check-in. Our friendliest interaction was with our housekeeper, who offered us towels and coffee when we decided not to have the room made up that day - the point being , it doesn't take much to please your guests, just simple kindness would have been sufficient for us to give five stars. The pool was closed during our stay (3 days), which is unfortunate given it is a main amenity advertised. A patch was to "visit our sister hotel" which is just not acceptable. They offer you "lounge" acces via the 26th floor - honestly this "lounge" is insulting and they would be better off closing it and having nothing available. The front entrance is in a bizarre location that is not easily walkable, and there were no insights as to how to navigate to main landmarks by foot. The hotel is very dated, not worth staying in. I rarely write negative reviews, but I knew the moment I arrived that this chain needed attention as to not be regarded as a 'Pan Pacific' experience, and one that felt more like a holiday inn instead. Pan...you can do better.

Not recommended here for family.

The hotel was clean and tidy, there were shops and restuarants around the lower area of the hotel which has a good choice.... ONE MAJOR PROBLEM.. they have a roof top Bar and sunbeds but the Bar doesnt open till 15.00 hours so you cannot get a drink if you decide to sunbathe before this time you CANNOT......
