We absolutely loved this place, such a big apartment much bigger than we were expecting. Really conveniently located and so close to everything we needed. Staff were great helping us with our bags and taxis. Only thing I would feedback is given how much room we had the bathrooms were very small. The smallest double also could do with black put curtain rather than a blind as there was a street light outside. We loved Tromsø and would defo return here if we come back.

We stayed in the newly renovated area of the hotel, and it was very nice. We had a large suite with kitchenette and a nice view of the sea, and the mountains. The restaurant on the fifth floor is great and the staff was very helpful. The staff in the lobby main desk also great. Our first day in the spa was very busy with visitors from outside the hotel and the two staff members seemed overwhelmed however, the second day was very quiet and we had the spa to ourselves with one other couple. The steam room is amazing with stone sitting area as well as the stainless infinity hot tub, and the large infinity pool is slightly warmed, but more of a cool off pool, but long enough that you can swim. We saw the northern lights from the parking lot two nights in a row and it is a short walk to town and a very nice walk.

We stayed in Room 701 and it was outstanding. As a corner room, it offered breathtaking views over the city, fjord/harbour and mountains, and we were even able to see the aurora from the room when it was active. The décor was warm and stylish, the room spotless and cleaned daily, and the bed very comfortable. It was a little warm at around 20°C, and the thermostat didn’t seem to lower, but opening the window solved this easily. The room was also very quiet. Facilities were excellent, including a minibar (charged), kettle with teas/coffees, a hair dryer, iron and ironing board, safe and reliable free Wi‑Fi. The lifts were fast and rarely busy. Breakfast was exceptional with a huge selection and is definitely worth adding to your booking. The lobby, bar and dining areas were beautifully decorated. The rooftop bar was closed during our stay, but you can still access the rooftop itself, which made for a great place to view the aurora. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We had no issues during our stay, and the hotel happily stored our luggage after checkout while we waited for our late flight. The location was perfect, with most tours departing about a 15‑minute walk away. The cable car is around a 30‑minute walk, but it takes longer because the views are so stunning you keep stopping for photos! Overall, the hotel exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely stay again.
