The hotel was conveniently located and the room was clean. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was delicious.
The only downside was there were no drawers or shelves to unpack suitcases.

This was our first time at a ryokan. The staff and facilities ensure a tranquil and relaxing visit. When one first checks in the guest is treating like royalty with beautiful robe (I cannot remember the correct robe), tea, and an explanation of the facilities. The room was an apartment. Lovely views, The onsen in the room and the view of mountains was luxurious and calming.
The chef is a master. Although I do not eat most of the dishes, the chef prepares dishes so that I could eat. The steamed seabream was one of the most delicious meals I have ever had.
There is a tea service available which is also quite nice.
A short distance from the Onsen are trails through the mountains and around a lake.
