Nice room but for the expensive upgrade the view sucked. Demand a room on floor 8 or higherRoom was clean and cozy, great shower but jet tub then not fixed properly. VIP levels was nice but weird that breakfast started later and some staff were amazing and others not as competent.

We loved staying at the Átlantico! The rooms are impeccable and they’ve thought of every detail—plenty of outlets for charging; lovely spacious bathrooms with double sinks; comfy chairs for resting in the room; plenty of lighting options; and excellent air conditioning. Personnel were kind, thoughtful and friendly. Reception was helpful and courteous when we needed a taxi and to store a couple of bags between stays. Breakfast was lovely, the breakfast room overlooked Gran Via, and the buffet was complete and consistently well stocked. Coffee machines were easy to use and coffee was good. Personnel were always present and friendly. We would stay at the Átlantico again in a minute!

I asked for a view, and they did give me one-- a view of the interior air shaft! Oh well...but the room had zero appeal, with not even a bar of soap provided. They're really economizing. In fact the whole hotel is " value engineered" and made with cheap plastic faux-wood veneers and ceramic faux-stone ceramic tiles. Not that different from really budget motels. The staff at checkin must-have asked me 8 times if I was asolurltely sure I didn't want the breakfast. They must have been told to " sell it".
