Great stay was good rooms and clean

This is a unique property and a total throw back to another time (the main house is from the 1890s). The traditional kaiseki was impeccable, the breakfast was delicious, and the property is gorgeous. Added bonus: hot spring water is piped to your room bath! We had a wonderful weekend hiking and exploring the area (loved the Open Air Museum), and we have already talked about going back on our next trip to Japan. For those of you who know Mohonk in Upstate NY, Fujika evokes a similar vibe. Thank you to the staff! Highly recommend.

The property is a little run down but clean. The staff was rude when we were trying to check in. My husband and kids were behind me checking in and were told they couldn’t be there and shooed them away and then when my family moved down the hallway to wait me for me they came and asked them to move again. But no recommendation of where we would wait.

2nd time in this hotel, was definitely less good than the first time, dinner was amazing but breakfast had a lot of issues, my pregnant wife had bottle cap in her salad and our coffee we ordered for breakfast never came, expect more from an hotel at this price point, we will probably not come again

A lovely restful place. The onsens were excellent. The food in the village is very good. The gardens are beautiful.

Absolutely beautiful hotel and accommodations! Staff were extremely helpful and were able to communicate beautifully. Definitely worth the money! Made this trip worth while.

This hotel, well resort, was absolutely amazing. We couldn't have stayed at a nicer place. Highly recommend. Loads of restaurants and shopping including a grocery store, right inside of the hotel.

WOW. The staff was so friendly, the onsen made me feel like I was walking through a dream. It is a beautiful resort. Also they have a mini 7-11 inside the building with essentials and 7-11 favorites. You could not ask for more.
