Mid-Atlantic Kid friendly Holidays

I stayed here with my two tweens. It was actually one of the least expensive options we found and turns out to be a very boutique hotel. The public space has a very nice elevated ambiance. The room with 2 queen beds was very spacious and comfy. It's got what we need to get a good night sleep!

The staff were excellent! Steps from Times Square so the location is perfection if you have a real bucket-list style trip in mind.

Overall, the experience outside of the room was very good, especially because of the hotel’s excellent location. However, I felt that the in-room experience could be more up to date compared to other Marriott properties I have stayed at. For example, the room did not have standard USB-C charging ports, which have become a common convenience in many hotels. It would also have been nice to have complimentary bottled water available. Overall, I felt that much of the price reflects the prime location rather than the quality of the in-room experience. With a few modern upgrades and small complimentary touches, the stay would provide much better value and a more memorable guest experience.

I travel to DC at least twice a year and always stay at the Crystal City Marriott Gateway. Service is great. Check in easy. Love the easy access to the metro.

I've stay here before and totally happy with this place! Its also around the corner to Time Square. Love
