Izabela in restaurant area was amazing . What a wonderful human being . Had one issue, my son brought in food and bar tender told us we could eat in bar. We were only people in bar. Then some rude manager came in and told us to leave. Fine . Now no one in your bar. Make sure you are ok same page as workers .

The place was great but the staff and the rules were not. First one bathroom had no toilet paper and the other less than half a roll. I asked for some and they acted as if I was lying and gave me 1 roll and said when I was out I had to go buy some. That is not a “resort” normality. They also charge you a cleaning fee at check in but require you take out the trash (okay), load the dishwasher (fine), but then say wash and unload dishwasher before you leave at 11. Considering that the washer takes 3 hrs to complete you need to get up before 7 to have time for breakfast and cleaning…and eat or drink nothing else. Again NOT “resort” norms.

This hotel is perfect. Rooms really comfortable, we had a cozy queen room. Walking distance to all the sites. Breakfast excellent! I would love to come back here and to Amsterdam in general! What a city break this was!

Danny and Karim on Reception were outstanding, super friendly and so helpful.
Hotel has real character and is ideally placed to explore Amsterdam.
Room was not particularly large but was ideal for our needs and is what we looked for when we booked. Excellent bathroom and facilities/'Rituals' toiletries - super!
The newly opened restaurant - food was excellent, staff could be more friendly/personable.
