"A lovely place to stay. The room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable, and the duvet was happily not tucked into the bed, meaning you could get straight in without having to re-tuck the bed sheet in (tucked in duvets is a pet hate!).
The food was amazing, the staff were very welcoming and helpful, and the overall ambiance of the place was lovely. Will definitely stay again."
"I seriously enjoy staying at The Mariner's. Full of character, very clean, lovely food (generous portions), nice bar and I really cannot speak too highly of the very friendly & helpful staff.
Just superb."
"We arrived and were booked in promptly. Room was lovely and clean. There was a window slightly open which was welcome and a fan that worked as well.. A little concerned at first as we could see work being carried out on the road just below our bedroom window but thankfully they didn’t do any so it was quiet. Breakfast was very good. Beds clean and comfortable. It’s an old building and dated as to be expected. Impressed with the chandeliers Would stay again. Very reasonable price."
"Very clean room in the newly refurbished hotel. Very friendly helpful lady at reception who showed us to our room. Would love to stay again if we're back in the area :)"
