Sensui Island Romantic Holidays

The room was clean and relatively spacious for a Japanese hotel. Fresh towels were provided daily, as well as pajamas. It is located conveniently near a tran station. However the provided facilities were very lacking. The coin laundry on the 14th floor is actually just four machines, intended to be shared by the entire hotel. When I went to use the coin laundry one of the machines was broken, and the other three were taken up. I ended up having to walk 10 minutes to a local coin laundry to wash my things. Also, the spa was totally useless to me as a tattooed person. Tattooed people are only allowed to use the spa from 11:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. God forbid a Japanese person has to lay eyes upon a white woman with a bird tattoo. I probably will not stay here again

We have never stayed at a property that was as perfect as this. The room, the view, the staff and the amenities were all above and beyond our wildest expectations. We were in Miyajima and on three stormy rainy days and still had an amazing time. Our room was large and had everything you can imagine, including a private onsen on our patio and more. The staff made us feel so welcome and even wiped dry our suitcases when we arrived. I can’t recommend it enough and there is no way to give a review that properly describes this magical ryoken.

Our room was dirty and the rooms are not modern. Old TV. Room is not comfortable.

Breakfast was very delicious. Amazing so many variety of freshly cooked traditional Japanese dishes & including continental breakfast also. Convenient location to city tour & staff are very kind & helpful.

Incredible stay! The restaurant is Michelin Starred level, the spa is wonderful, the staff very helpful and the location very close to the Miyajima Ferry.
