The hotel's location couldn't be better, close to Gendarmenmarkt, Museum Island, Potsdamer Platz, shopping, public transportation, and a wide variety of restaurants. Rooms are reasonably large and comfortable, though the mannered chairs take up way too much space and should be replaced. Desk staff could be more welcoming but the women on the restaurant staff are wonderfully friendly and there is a good, though pricey, breakfast buffet. The bar offers cocktails at a discount on weekdays. The laundry service is poor to the point of being unusable, charging double on weekends and for pickups even one minute after the stated 9 am guest delivery time. For longer stays a self-service laundromat is the only option.

We found this to be a lovely hotel and the Prinzlauer district and a good base for exploring Berlin. The room was luxurious and very comfortable. The included breakfast is excellent, although the wait staff were somewhat unfriendly. The staff at the front desk, however were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is 2 stops on the M2 tram from Alexanderplatz.

I was glad to splurge on my hotel room as I got an amazing view on the TV tower and had a balcony. The room was great, though I was a bit surprised by the extra costs to get a full kitchenware kit, and additional coffee pods even if my stay was 6 days. The breakfast was good, but limited. Hotel was also close to two metro stations (5 minutes walk) and bus stops is a few steps from the hotel. It is also very much downtown. I would recommend this hotel for sure!

I stayed a few years in a row and is a good hotel. Was let down as air con wasn’t working in my room and had to chase to get fix which wasn’t. I had to offer solution of a fan so a little let down. Everything else was good and easy stay.
