The room was fairly clean for an older hotel. You can tell the furniture hasn't been moved around and cleaned under. The areas out in the open are clean. The bedding, sheets and towels are crisp and feel well washed. The front desk staff is very helpful. However, we asked for a 2nd room on the 14th floor and this wasn't able to be accommodated. Additionally, the staffing for the bar service at night given the capacity of the hotel was woefully understaffed. Overall, this hotel is ideal for attending the CIAA. It is one (1) block from the arena, has convenient parking and great staff.

The breakfast was pretty good, if you do not eat beef or pork you have to request an alternative with either the front desk or with a food server. There wasn't too many options, only pork bacon, eggs and sometimes pancakes or french toast. The pool wasn't clean the first 3 days of my stay, so that was very disappointing.
