"The parking was not free, even though stated as such on hotels.com (costed 10 €). Check-in was somewhat confusing as the girl, though being kind, did not say much unless I asked, but I later met a man who was very friendly and gave additional information. Wifi did not reach our room, so the children had to sit in the corridor. Room for 4 persons was spacious and clean and beds were comfortable. The village and its surroundings were beautiful. We stayed one night as we were passing through Spain...

"I travelled to take part in Ironman Barcelona. This place is in a perfect location, start line is almost just across the road. Rooms are spacious and bright. Staff are very friendly. And the roof terrace is a nice place to chill by the pool."

"My stay was good, a little noisy on two nights, but it was out on the street, room nice bed comfortable, shower good, staff very helpful, breakfast fresh orange juice, decent coffee, choice’s not great, scrambled eggs were warm but never hot as We like it, would stay again as the price was fair for our stay."

"Firstly, the rooms have not sound proof. We could hear everything from the room next door, conversation, using the toilet and shower, being played which was not even loud, people coming and going banging doors all the time. Even got woken by someone being sick, in the night. No kettles or fridges in rooms. (may be an oversite on my part for not noting when I booked). We go to Calella every year same time, certainly won't be booking this hotel again."

"We had a really good stay at El Pekinaire. Great location just a few minutes walk from the beach or restaurants. The room was very clean and modern, with everything we needed. Breakfast was very good and staff friendly and helpful. We used the parking option which was good value compared to the on street parking and kept our hire car safe inside. "

"The Hotel is on a nice commuter town on the outskits of Barcelona. While its easy to get the train into the center or airporr during the week, their are no direct train at the weekend and a Taxi costs €75-80. Rooms were comftable but no fridge/drinking water or tea/coffee making facilities in room."

"If you come to the Lunas Yoga and Spa resort for some, as they say “slow travel” you might find that you will leave with your chakra’s so far misaligned they now resemble the pebble ash tray they say is the local beach. On arrival expectations were high as we thought after two weeks on the road through Europe this would be our opportunity to relax and reset before the last leg of or trip.
