“The hotel is a great blend of old charm with modern convenience. It is not a modern hotel with a fitness center etc. What it is is a really cool old hotel with just the needed amount of modern amenities. The staff at the desk, especially the afternoon guy, was friendly and helpful. He even made dinner reservations for us for our anniversary at a local restaurant. The place is clean and quiet. The complimentary breakfast was ok with a decent selection although it seems to be the same every day……

“The room is great.”

“We greatly enjoyed the beautiful and peaceful surroundings. It was the perfect relaxing getaway and location for us to explore the beautiful countryside and a convenient location to serve as our home add while we explored the area on our motorcycle. The hosts were helpful and accommodating and responsive to all of our needs. I would definitely stay here again in the future and would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful getaway.”

“Great place to fish from, and come back with area for hanging wadders, etc very nice!”

“The place was wonderful and the owner was accommodating. Beds comfy, loved the outside furniture. The only downside was it was advertised as a 2 bathroom place but there is actually only one bathroom. ”
