“We love the Karalis city hotel. The views of the bay, Pylos and sunsets were AMAZING! We loved the balconies. The staff were friendly and helpful. The onsite breakfast buffet was extensive. We stayed in two rooms and the more expensive room was the most modernized and had the most comfortable mattresses but the lower/mid price room was very good and modernized although we found these mattresses to be a bit firm.but it had a great couch- designed to be a perfect third bed. “Das Hotel ist schon etwas älter, trotzdem aber sehr schön und sauber. Die Zimmer (unseres war mit Meerblick) sind recht groß und gut ausgestattet. Das Badezimmer ist ok, allerdings könnte es sauberer sein. Die schwarzen Ecken müssten behandelt werden und die Zahnpastaflecken unserer Vorgänger wurden auch während unseres Aufenthaltes nicht entfernt. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist einfach nur super, es gibt so viele verschiedene Sachen, da ist wirklich für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Die Angestellten……

“Die Anlage als solche ist schön, vor allem der Pool und der Ausblick. Das Appartement war allerdings eine Frechheit. Zwei total zerschlissene Sofas aus Kunstleder mit Kunstlederüberwurf, gefühlt 30 Jahre alt. Das Bad war auch alt und häßlich. W-lan sollte ohne Passwort funktionieren. Wir hatten allerdings nur äußerst schlechtes W-lan vom Pool (nur im vorderen Teil des Appartements). Personal (Rezeption) unfreundlich und genervt. Es scheint neuere Appartements zu geben. I took this photo in Messinia, Greece in summer 2016. It's of Voidokilia Beach and it's surroundings. Voidokilia Beach is on the Peloponnese peninsula and it was the most picturesque beach that I visited during that Greek trip, which was almost exclusively in Messinia. On that mountain is Nestor's Cave and above this are the ruins of a 13th-century Frankish castle (Old Navarino or Palaiokastro). Look closely and you will see :). I didn't get to walk up there. It was brutally hot that day and I spent most of the time at the beach. But, I did make time for some hiking. Near where I took this photo there was a lot of medieval or ancient ruins. Near those beautiful rocks. I had to be careful when walking on them, but it was worth it!
