“Clean”

“Great property, with parking and good sized rooms, plus an excellent breakfast setup. Bed was very comfortable. Extended lounge with complementary whiskeys to try, and other guests were friendly and open to conversation. Located at the north end of Pitlochry, but only a 3 minute walk to the town. Excellent heating in the room. I particularly liked how friendly the staff were. Definitely a place to stay at again.”

“Dean and Paul were exceptional hosts, and within minutes after our arrival it felt like we were visiting with old friends. It truly was one of the warmest and friendliest environments I have ever experienced at a boutique hotel. Paul’s skills as a chef were amazing, as well! The breakfasts were superb and the lone dinner eaten at the hotel was also memorably delicious. Clean rooms, super staff and a great location for exploring central Scotland, the Birchwood Pitlochry checks all these boxes……

“Lovely welcome from June. Our top floor bedrooms were bright and comfortable with a pretty view. The ensuite bathrooms were small but clean. We enjoyed the breakfast and appreciated the kind and friendly attitude with regards to our todddler.”

“Wow what a welcome. Hosts are so friendly. All the food was hot and fresh. Rooms clean and airy. Close to shops and restaurants. Would stay here again if coming back to Pitlochry. Definitely recommend ”

“Great breakfast, clean room, heat and hot water, and very friendly staff! Little outdated in the hallways but rooms were nice. Has free parking so that’s nice too. ”

“Room, pub and staff were lovely. However, if you're looking to get a good nights rest avoid the tower. Its a pub so loud music and open till late, walls and floors paper thin so you can hear conversations going on downstairs, music thumbping till midnight and then the person tidying up was pushing the chairs along the wooden flooring which created a loud screeching noise”

“There was a young man serving at hotel who was very warm and helpful The hotel was very old and tired and facilities were not very good but the view of the loch at front was beautiful”

“Jeg hadde et veldig fint opphold her. Det var veldig rent og ryddig, og verten var utrolig hyggelig og hjelpsom. Vi fikk også mange gode tips om området, noe som gjorde oppholdet enda bedre. Frokosten var veldig god og smakfull. Jeg vil anbefale dette stedet 100 % til andre, og kommer gjerne tilbake igjen had a very pleasant stay here. “We had a lovely stay here. Amazing location and views from our room. The owners were welcoming and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. Parking was a breeze. Really spacious room, tastefully decorated and very comfortable beds. Leather armchairs in our room were lovely too. Hospitallty trays well stocked and much appreciated. Breakfast was delicious, a real treat! Cooked to perfection and served at the table. Views from dining room were stunning. Didn't want to leave!……
