"I am not a traveler, I am a serious home body. Once I got to my room I immediately felt comfortable and was glad I had traveled away from home. "The property has been restored to a 1920 homestead and it is extremely inviting and comfortable. The porch overlooking the Ohio River was an awesome feature and we enjoyed our coffee while waiting for the sunrise and listening to the water flow by. "Hotel was nice; room was clean and bed comfortable. Like not being right on the highway and nice location by walking trail. Heating/cooling unit was loud; good stay over-all. Only disappointment was we booked using Expedia; rate was good and when I got my receipt after stay; it was regular price; not the Expedia price. Big difference in cost. Not sure how to dispute this but worth mentioning. We would stay at the facility again; but will need need to confirm pricing beforehand. "
