"Because of train delays I wasn't sure if I would arrive at the hotel before reception closed. I phoned them to check and they were very helpful and sent me a door code for after hours access. In the event I was about 10 minutes late and someone was still there and gave me a very friendly welcome, which did a lot to alleviate the misery of a stressful journey! "Spacious room, especially for a German hotel. Clean. Friendly staff. Legoland is a 25 min away, return is tiring due to uphill (and weight of whatever you bought). No public transportation connections or shuttles. If you can't or don't want to walk, expect to pay for taxis or have a car with you. For regular pedestrians, it's great and newrest to Legoland. Not sure there is anything else in the area."
