「We had a very nice stay at the Historic Cary House Hotel. The check in was smooth and the gal could not have been more lovely. I regret not learning her name to give her credit for making the stay perfect. She was very friendly and gave lots of good advice on places to eat. Overall just a really nice woman, she made us feel like we had been friends for years. The room was very nice as well. We stayed in a two bedrooms, and it had plenty of space. 「My husband and I try to come up to Sutter Creek three or four times a year and we will always check Hotel Sutter for a room before looking anywhere else. We love the old building, the friendly staff, the restaurant and the bar. Strolling the main street and visiting all the local shops.」

「Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere every time I visit Rest. The wine hour and breakfast are great. We always eat at Taste which is excellent. The immediate area is historic and closed down. It’s a great place to stay after a day of wine tasting and exploring the historical towns nearby. 」
