"My mom needs a walker and there was no elevator. No bars to hold onto anywhere in the bathroom. Dining room was beautiful and good was very good. Debbie at the front desk was great when we checked in. Room was a little sparse-no TV just a bed and a dresser and a little noisy but hey, it’s an old heritage hotel. "

"I loved this creekside setting and easy walk to the main streets. We stayed in the grand suite and it was worth the splurge for our own private patio and lovely room and bathroom. Hostess was great."

"This is one of the best places that I have ever stayed; the rooms are clean with tons of character. I love the style and the history of the place. There is a yard with a large outdoor kitchen and other fun games and stuff. Great for the kiddos! I'd like to find a reason to go back to the area just so that I can stay at this place again! And the American River is just right down the road (if you don't mind driving a gravel road). Love it and would definitely recommend! "

"The studio was fine… smaller than we thought and the building as a whole was pretty dated, but the studio seemed updated. Location wasn’t bad, close enough drive to town, but away from the crowds. Walls are paper thin, so you hear everything going on around you in all the other units. It worked for what we needed, but will look elsewhere next time."

"House was dirty, garage had been used as a dumpster and smelled horrible. None of the windows locked, closets had dirty linen hanging. Bed sheets had holes in them and bed was very hard itself. The house description says that one of the rooms has 2 king beds and none of the rooms have 2 beds aside from the queen bunk beds. False advertising of this property. The Only reason we stayed was because there was no availability anywhere else. Don’t waste your money and stay here your better off staying...
