"The bed was so cozy and comfortable! Snacks and coffee were available in the lobby 24/7. Walkable to the downtown area. We loved The Sailmaker and will stay here if we visit Portsmouth again!"

"We chose this accommodation for our first trip as a family with our 7-month old baby. The suite was perfect for our needs: well-equipped kitchen, large room that fit our play pen easily, comfy bed, etc). The indoor pool was very warm and great for rainy days with our little one and the location was amazing considering that it was April and we mostly went for walks in town and on the Marginal Way (rather than spend all day at the beach with a lot of gear). The walls are not the most soundproof...

"What a unique and wonderful experience! The continental breakfast is very ample and delicious. I had the goat cheese and blueberry quiche, and there are 5 outstanding complimentary breakfasts to choose from. Upon arrival, the dining area was decked out from a weekend Alice in Wonderland dinner. A beautiful and creative display. The staff was extremely accommodating. The bed was comfortable; the room a classy Victorian style. The Silver Fountain is an adventure! "

"Great location for families! Townhouse was fully stocked with kitchen appliances and everything was very clean. Near an amazing Domut place and 30 mkns from Portland. Congdons donuts were the best! "

"The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The one major downside was the lack of sound proofing. We could hear everything going on in the hall and people moving around in rooms around us."

"Reserved 3 queen beds, got 1 king and 1 queen and a sleeper sofa. King bed was so uncomfortable my wife couldn't sleep in it and moved to couch. "

"The sheets on our bed were so old they are falling apart and don’t fit the bed anymore. It was aweful. And I payed for a 2 queen bed room suite and got a king."
