"I really like the location of this hotel/onsen. It's right on the river and you can hear and view it as you soak in the onsen or as you're enjoying tea in your room. The staff tried their best to help us in english. Between that and Google we were able to figure things out. The only disappointment is that meals were included but we were never told that we had to reserve and same day reservations are not permitted. "I really don’t know how to review this. It was difficult to get to. The road was steep and dangerous. We were worried our car won’t make it. The hotel is at the top of the mountain. The onsen and the view were great. The food fantastic. Free drinks and cheap alcohol amazing. But... it was super old, dirty, dusty. Smelled really bad. Like an old bus. No WiFi and no air conditioner. Had to do with a little fan. So I’d say ok. Just ok overall. "
