"We had a great but short stay stay here. Arrived late and left early. Nice room, comfy bed and good linen. Black out blind didn’t work and the bathroom entrance was sort of broken (wasn’t a problem). Went to big breakfast and the bar/mini restaurant looked lovely and I felt I was a shame we didn’t have more time. Walked to the beach and the area is definitely worth a visit. Overall the hotel is a good option. "

"We've stayed at this hotel twice before,, when it was a Hotel Bed 4U. Now it has been very recently acquired by Leonardo hotels and standards seem good. "This is a super little hotel beside the Cathedral, really short walk to the old town, the beach, the river, and the bus station! Really stylish and clean. Staff were friendly and efficient. We were given a welcome glass of cava and upgraded to a room with a balcony. We didn’t book the breakfast option, so not sure how good that is, but there is free water and soft drinks in the rooms. Lovely touches. "

"We booked this place last minute and Jon was excellent at getting all the info we needed for parking and checkin quickly. We received a very detailed message about where to park and how it works as well as instructions on how to get in our room. We didn’t have any issues with either. The place was very nice and clean. We met Jon in the morning to get the discounted parking ticket and he was so friendly and showed us the map of the town and his favourite places to eat. Excellent service all...

Staff accused me of double booking, we informed the front desk that we may stay 2 nights but will decide later, but he booked us while I booked later on Expedia. At check out the lady accused us of double booking and they lost the customer, how rude to accuse the customer for their incompetence. "

room above the restaurant
"We were allocated room 127 which was close to the open atrium leading to reception and above the hotel's restaurant. We could hear the dull thud of techno music from our room which is not what we paid for. I went to reception to ask when it would cease and I was advised that it would "be soon". At 10:00 pm, I wnt back to reception to say that I could still hear the music and was advised that it had been turned down but I advised the receptionist that I could still hear it from my room. The receptionist allocated me a different room away from the noise. I did not need to move my luggage until I left the hotel the next day. So although my initial experience was not good, the hotel did their best to rectify the issue as best they could. So, I have awarded them 5 stars because the outcome was very satisfactory."
