「From entering the gates & driving up the long & winding drive & entering the lovely reception & meeting the very helpful receptionist was just perfect, the room, dining room and bar all exceeded expectations, we had a lovely stay & a big thank you to all concerned」

「Stayed 1 night in a “deluxe” room, the experience started well with the unusual arrival via a short ferry and the drive through the private island, but sadly the luxury experience ended as soon as we had parked up and headed for check-in. 「The grounds are amazing and the Castle is beautiful from the outside. We were not allowed to enter the castle because it was rented out for our entire stay. We stayed in the Lodges which would have been nice had some issues been addressed. First off the doors were left open when we got there, front and back, so we thought maybe we were in the wrong place. The hot water lasted 5 mins and never came back. Main bedroom door leading outside was broken and would not shut. Had a chain holding it...

「Nice place but after 10 or 11 at night the owners really don't any noise what so ever..if you want to go for a night out and come back late or want to watch TV late or go out after 11 for cigarette.. you'll be approached by either Avery or Niamh and basically told keep it down so I felt uncomfortable during my stay and wouldn't return..stayed 4 days and the room wasn't serviced once..I had to go downstairs and ask for more toilet roll..towels which is unacceptable 」
