"I was only staying for one evening in the San Luis Obispo area and was very glad I stumbled on this property in my search. It's a small boutique property but the rooms are wonderful. I even had a fireplace in the room and used it on a chilly wet night. The bedding was better than home and was super comfortable with a variety of pillows for every taste. "It was advertised that there was a lodge to enjoy, fire and all. It was locked the entire 48 hrs we were there. There was a separate ‘lounge’, but interesting….Did not see a soul. Reviews said that there was a yummy organic breakfast, but there wasn’t any breakfast at all. Just referrals to restaurants. "Kurt was so great and easy to coordinate with prior to our arrival. The house was setup perfectly for us. All of the restaurants and bars in downtown SLO are literally 2 blocks away which was extremely convenient but also far enough away that there were no noise issues. We had an awesome time and will certainly stay here again next time we make a trip down."
