“The property is excellent in many ways. However, the staff are exceptional. Our flight out of the Faroe Islands was cancelled and the person at the Lobby went out of their way to arrange for the airline to pay for an extra night at the Hafnia (which was much better for us), arrange for three free meals at the hotel, and then even called our taxis to reschedule pick up for the next day. And even though check in is normally after 3 PM, the person was able to get us into our rooms right away for……

“We ordered takeaway breakfast for our date of departure as we had to catch an early flight. The order was confirmed by email and at check in by the front desk staff. However, due to an internal communication error, the order was not communicated to the kitchen and we were left without any breakfast. We however saw the front desk staff when checking with the kitchen took the opportunity to make herself a ham and cheese sandwich and did not offer it to us. “International brand lives up to its standards. I'm currently staying at various hotels in Denmark with about the same price range, not sure about the very expensive ones, but many of these hotels are either lacking mini bar, slippers, tissue, or very small shower place with shower curtain that doesn't block out the water at all. All that common annoying issues I found in Denmark, none were happening at the Hilton hotel in Faroe Islands. It was like "finally I can really get some rest here" and……

“Very comfortable hotel, clear and large room, reception is helpful, general service is above standard. Since the hotel location on the hill, hence it provide a wonderful review no matter from the room or restaurant, but if you didn't rent the car and prefer by walk to down town, it will require around 30 min. to down hill and around 45 min. to up hill. Besides, strongly recommend to book the KOKS for dinner as they will provide an excellent food and service to you which the chef will introduce……

“Loved this property, especially the deck which we used quite a lot! We stayed here 7 days. Parking was 500 m away and included EV charging which we required as we had an EV rented. Easy to use and charging is free on the Faroe Islands!! Great central location for all our day trips. Fabulous kitchen for us to cook which we did most nights. Only complaint was on Saturday night the 2 pubs nearby got very loud around 2 in the morning. But the 2nd bedroom would have been quiet. We also had a……

“Le logement n'était pas très facile à trouver car "caché" derrière une société de location de voiture. Cela fait une drôle d'impression au départ. Mais à l'intérieur, l'appartement est vraiment très bien. Les informations données pour récupérer la clé n'étaient pas les bonnes. Heureusement, nous sommes arrivés au moment où la femme de ménage partait. Elle a pu nous aider et nous donner les bons codes.”

“Fantastisk ophold og var glad for at have valgt Thorshavn, hvor vi derfra kunne komme rundt på de andre ø'er. Vi havde lejet bil og det er nødvendigt - også hvis man vil vandre. Ellers er der busserne. Planlæg altid din tur efter vejrforholdene.”
