“Lovely location with very helpful staff throughout the property- from the front desk to the restaurant to the pool and bar areas. People went out of their way to take care of us. Small details could use attention- broken curtains in room letting light in the morning, old hair dryers, stains on some furniture (lots of kids around). Also, there were some noisy weddings and events that made it difficult to sleep on two nights and crowds of families arrived at the middle of the week making pool……

“To set expectations, this is not a 5 star hotel by today’s standards. I’m sure it was 5 star 15 years ago, but this is a dated property in desperate need of updating to live up to the 5* tag they claim. The beach had sewer smells, the gym was a token gesture to dated fitness equipment with no aircon. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a welcome surprise. Very wide range of food and good quality ingredients. The bedroom was clean and welcoming. Would I stay for a week.……
