“We booked this through hotels.com and we got a confirmation however they did not nor did they receive payment.
We arrived and the host Valentina was waiting for us (because we called). She graciously let us in the gates and showed us one of two rooms to choose from which either one was fine. We were hungry and Valentina recommended a nearby restaurant that had great food.
We woke up to a beautiful continental breakfast which tasted amazing and a latte. It was really foggy and we had to rush……
“I loved everything about this place. My friend and I enjoyed the atmosphere, the staff, and our overall stay. They even made us sandwiches after we came from getting stuck in Milan. We’d totally come back. San Dona is a beautiful area, plenty of things to do. ”
“This was such a unique , fun stay. Property was beautiful, and the owners were so nice and helpful. Only thing I would recommend is update to listing to include how to enter gate upon arrival as the sign is not very easy to see. Also there is only one portable air conditioner for the entire apt so it was rather hot”
“I couldn't rate this hotel more highly. Travelling with three chidren can be difficult but the family room at Hotel Rovere was perfect. The room was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The hosts were so warm, friendly and extremely helpful in answering our queries and arranging airport transfers. So much thought and effort had gone into making the hotel welcoming with lots of thoughful touches like a 'Thought for the day' on the breakfast table. Breakfast was delicious with a selection……
