Beautiful hotel in a lovely area of town, excellent choice of foods at breakfast, and despite being a large buffet this was clean and well stocked for the most part. The rate I paid was good value for the level of service, but I notice the price seems to fluctaute hugely from week to week.

The Gallery Bar and Restaurant was very good for cocktails, dinner and dessert! Delicious!!! Breakfast was okay. The classic king room was a nice size for a solo traveller. The bathroom could have used a fresh coat of paint and refreshed bath sealant. The rest of the hotel room was clean and well-maintained. Overall, I had a peaceful stay at the Chester Hotel.
