Was a great size room for our family of four. Much better than your normal 2 queen bed room. The pool was so cold, I couldn’t make my self get in. The hot tub was great as well as the sauna.

Will never stay here again. When checking in with my service animal the check in guy who was older asked if my dog was certified and trained and I said yes. And he asked what task does he perform I said to recognize on coming panic attacks. Which the front desk man said that is not a real disability and they do not recognize emotional support animals. When trying to explain he wasn't he just kept brushing me off and talking over me. If all the other places weren't booked we would have left right then. But we said whatever and paid the fee for my service dog as well as my non service dog. Got to the room which smelt like cigarettes. The carpet was sticky. And the mattress had more hills and dunes than the Sahara. We tried to go the game room but the pool cues were already checked out but no one playing. They said there was a restaurant on site, but it was closed and up for lease. Room was small, you could hear everyone's children's and dogs. As well as the people above us must have been practicing for river dance.

We love staying at the Polynesian! The rooms are so spacious and a terrific value for what they charge. The hotel is just a short walk to the beach. The staff is always friendly and helpful. This is our go-to place when we stay at Ocean Shores!

Paid for a view room, was met with a slider glass panel with a blown seal that allowed half the ocean view to be seen. Everything was threadbare and needed updating. Would have been nice to know the restaurant was closed indefinitely as well. Rug was pulled away and ripped away from kitchen flooring. Rug was dirty and disgusting. Sheets/comforter felt the same. Trim and cabinets all needed paint and maintenance. Over-all, quite disappointing. Pictures are not an adequate representation of what you get at this place. The chlorine smell from the indoor main level pool was overpowering on the 3rd floor. How does that happen?

The location did not offer a beach view. There are trails behind the property that lead toward the beach, but we were told by another family that the path had been washed out and was very difficult to walk through. The check-in experience could have been better—the staff member lacked hospitality and didn’t make us feel very welcome. Room cleanliness was a major issue. There was noticeable dust on the blinds, bedposts, and even the ceiling. At first, I thought I was getting sick, but it turned out to be my allergies reacting to the dust. Additionally, we were told to wait about twenty minutes before taking a second shower, which was inconvenient. Overall, the stay was disappointing and did not meet expectations.

We booked an economy room and quickly learned why. It was clean but the furniture was old and scratched up. There is only hot water capacity for one quick shower at a time, the door, handle and lock took special attention to get it to close and work. Curtains and bedspread were way past their life expectancy. It was nice to have a pool, hot tub and sauna. Also, very happy to have a guest laundry facility.

Arrived at the property just before 9pm and had to wait 30 minutes for the one person working there to get back from lunch to check me in. Nothing worse than driving for 4 hrs, finally making it to the hotel and then having to sit in the car and wait to get settled in. Also there wasn't enough hot water for two people to take a shower back to back. On a positive note the hotel was conveniently located 5 minutes from the clamming beach. I did enjoy the game room and retro video games and the hot tub was clean.
