Plenty of outdoor activities close to explore and the lake was prestine. Lots of shopping close. We very much enjoyed the lighting bugs display right after sundown. "Came to Damascus to do the VA Creeper Trail. This cabin is only a few miles from downtown Damascus so it was super convenient. Just a touch off the beaten path and it was perfect! Nice open living room with high ceilings, pullout couch, cute bedroom downstairs, loft with 2 twin beds upstairs. Balcony off the back is perfect for coffee in the mornings and wine in the evenings. We will definitely be staying here again! Owners are very responsive and checkin/out was a breeze!"

Love the central location as it was very close to hiking, biking and driving to Virginia creeper Trail. The owner responds immediately to any questions. "Very clean not even cobwebs on the high ceilings! Cozy but spacious. The stairs to the loft bedroom are so neat. Decorated very well. The large new deck has great views of Mtns/lake. We got to hear rain on the metal roof and see lightning bugs in the trees. Host was a fantastic communicator. There is a great list of things to do in the area on the fridge. 3 adults stayed comfortably with our own rooms and there is 2 living rooms. Definitely 5 stars worthy!!"

"The perfect hideaway for peace and quiet - but only a short drive off the property to anything. The house was so accommodating and we enjoyed listening to rain on the metal roof after 2.5 days by the firepit in the heart of the forest. So much fun!!"

Had every amenity. Very clean. Well decorated and not broken down like some rentals. Hot tub was lovely. Cabin is very, very clean, beautifully decorated, very good beds, pillows, sheets, towels, everything looks like new and good qulity.
