“The views were great but so are other properties that share that lake , I have to say the food there lacked rich seasoning and flavor , the dinner wasn’t great , before writing this review I waited to give breakfast a try and again was disappointed. So as far as the food they really need to improve. The hotel overall was clean good staff . But I believe this hotel is overhyped for what you end up experiencing.”

“Beautiful grounds and gardens. View from restaurant is stunning. Private parking was so helpful and provided peace of mind. Included breakfast is excellent! Rooms are adequate, but small. Beds were ok. Conveniently located to lake side park on one side and shops on the other. Restaurant food and service is very good! One of our favorite places on Lake Atitlan”

“beautiful property with stunning views. Limited underwhelming food options, Overpriced food and drink, 15% gratuity added to everything plus unknown taxes added to bill at the end. The "free" continental breakfast is a small plate of unappetizing fruit plus a couple slices of toasted bread with butter. No spa but I may have been able to book a massage, no work out/gym facilities -- so it was not as advertised. Also -- the check in clerk could have been more helpful with directions and……

“We were disappointed with our stay and left early, forfeiting our second night because the noise was unbearable. The property photos are extremely misleading. Balconies appear to face a peaceful forest, but actually overlook a busy highway with constant traffic, loud mufflers, honking, barking dogs, and roosters crowing at all hours. We booked expecting a quiet, "spa-like" environment based on the listing, but relaxation or sleep was impossible. Furthermore, pre-trip communication was……

“This hotel is simply beautiful. The staff makes you feel like royalty. The view is beautiful but not accessible or visible from the inside. I wish they build an observation deck in the future. Great conservation of the building. Neat clean all around. Great gourmet food. The best was breakfast. I missed a hair dryer, but a small detail for such a wonderful experience.”
