Unmatched Customer Service

What wonderful, personalized customer service. A good place to stay if you are looking to be in the center of everything and experience the beautiful views and vibrancy of Accra. The grandeur of Oxford represents the essence of Ghana, with its heavy gold details in the design from the rooms to the shared spaces. Great food selection and a place where the staff very well can become lifelong friends. I love you Oxford!

The Number One Oxford Street Hotel & Suites was a true jewel of a find! From the positive check experience received thanks to Eben (Manager) to the attentiveness of Richard (Butler) and the in the heart location, I would recommend this hotel! The accommodations and food services were 5-stars. Everything was found as advertised. I will definitely secure this hotel again!

This property is well kept. The staff is extremely friendly and the hotel service was excellent. Very chic, boutique style hotel with modern amenities. My room came with a Butler, Bismark was very attentive during my stay. The restaurant food was great, but the service was extremely slow. My only complaint for this hotel is because of the location, the noise level is constantly loud from the street. I would definitely recommend staying here.

This property was the last hotel my family and I stayed in on our 11 day trip to Accra Ghana. I wish I would’ve booked for at least 1 week to enjoy all the amenities they offer. The rooms are equipped with a full siz refrigerator. Four burners and a mini oven. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for the comfort, cleanliness and hospitality they offer. The overall design of the Hotel is beautiful! The pool with the cabanas felt relaxing. The breakfast was delicious. This hotel is a short walk to the local market and fruit stands and the ShopRite grocery store is in the mall just up the street.

Initially happy as compared to other hotel we stayed in until the loud noise on Friday, Saturday, Sunday. You are in the center of the city with clubs. They state windows are sound proof but they aren’t. No accommodations for this. The party continues until 3-4 am. Water shut off for about 15-20 min. Lastly sewage leaked up into our bathroom and in the hallway and ruined some of our clothing. No accommodations when asked except for $87 off. Room was 625 USD per night.

1. Front Desk Staff is arrogant or grumpy! 2. Please do not book breakfast with them. They have absolutely nothing except some sausages and few breads! There is one indian chef who was kind enough to ask if he can help with something. Atleast he tried. 3. Rooms are way too shiny (not a type I prefer for official visit) 4. No place to sit and work on laptop (a very basics needed with a plug point) overall, would not recommend.

The microwave in my room was non-functional. Additionally, the staff displayed a lack of attentiveness, appearing primarily focused on charging $50 for any guests visiting my room. There were several issues during my stay, including power outages and water supply disruptions. Furthermore, the air conditioning unit in the master bedroom was not operational. The staff entered my room multiple times without permission, opening the door without prior notification. Overalll .beautiful property but the stuff needs a lot of training on customer service.

The cleaning staff were excellent. A special mention for our housekeeper, Abigail. The pool area was relaxing. The restaurant lunch and dinner were excellent. If I am in Accra again, I would definitely stay there again.

I had a nice time , very clean and beautiful hotel . Although I think some things should be complementary like water in the room and the drinks in the fridge , I was charged 450 Ghana cedis for that. I also think lunch should also be complementary as well but overall I had a wonderful time .

Beautiful location...not far from the popular Frankie's restaurant. Clean and fully furnished rooms with sitting area, dining area and full kitchen. Friendly staff too. Only drawbacks were the bed was too close to the wall and the noise from the road which was a disturbance, particularly at night.
