Kurashiki Achi Shrine Hotels

"Place was clean and tidy. The place is s bit far away from the canals but its still a walkable distance. Not much to do in the area but i think thats more about kurashiki than the hotel. All in all, i would stay here again if i came back to kurashiki."

"This was my second visit to Kurashiki, but my first time staying at the Royal Park Hotel. I prefer this location because of its proximity to both Kurashiki Station and the Bikan historic quarter. Also, this hotel was much quieter and more comfortable, making this business trip more relaxing than I expected. "

"An excellent hotel which is a very short walk from the main train station. A 7/11 convenience store is even closer to the hotel. Also close to the hotel are entrances to the shopping underpass ichi ban gai which also allows easy access to shopping centres such as Aeon without having to cross streets. The hotel itself has a large reception area with very helpful staff many of whom speak English. Breakfast is in a large room with plenty of seating, and has a very good breakfast buffet. Outside breakfast hours that room is used for free coffee/a rest area etc. Laundry and public bath on (from memory) 10th floor - I didn’t use the public bath myself but I did overhear that as is normal in Japan it’s not available to those with large tattoos. My room was clean, modern and comfortable. My only issue was that I booked one of the smaller size rooms and the mini fridge was too small for me (e.g. I couldn’t fit normal 500 ml bottles in the door tray). I also thought the desk was too close to the bed, as when sitting in the chair the chair back was right up against the bed. Room was otherwise perfectly functional and spotless - more than happy to stay in this hotel again although next time I’ll book the next room size up !"

"Basement hot tub/sauna was a great amenity. Very walkable to city’s Bikran Historical District. Easy access to train station & wonderful nearby market."

"We had a great stay at the Dormy Inn! It’s super conveniently located next to Kurashiki, the staff was amazing, everyone was so nice! We also loved all the treats, the popsicles, ramen, etc The hot springs are really good too!"
