Recommendation for Discerning Travelers

Very nice, well-kept and spacious holiday apartment with a view of the nearby sea. Two spacious sun terraces invite you to linger. The very friendly property managers Guiseppe and Jano were extremely helpful and had a lot of valuable information.

Amazing Views

The owners were fantastic greeting us when we got there. The views are spectacular. The town is close by walkable or there is plenty of metered parking on the waterfront. Great restaurants plenty of choices. Totally recommend staying here.

We had a pleasant stay at Giulia's. The apartment is beautiful, a breathtaking view, Via Terezza is a very charming town. The sea is accessible, and very pleasant. Nearby also Catania and the surrounding area. The people who hosted us, Giuseppe and Jano, are very warm and welcoming people, with good recommendations for nearby addresses. These are the greatest hosts in the world. They were so calm and professional and the facilities are cleaner than my home. Immaculate! The kitchen is adequately provisioned. Shower and toilet …perfect. The terrace has views you can’t beat. There is even a bonus terrace above. Be prepared for a few stairs which are easily navigable (we are 70) convenient to markets too!I would have no problem staying again. Two difficulties It’s a little challenging to find but once you’ve got it figured out it’s easy. Also, during our stay the washer was in operative but that was fixable and they provided fresh towels to accommodate us. We even cooked in several times and really enjoyed the Siciliano still di vida.

Fantatisc!!

Fantastic apartment all that was advertised and more. Highly recommend it. Fantastic views with fantastic terraces, great layout. Spotless and well maintained, great location. Giulia was very helpful and friendly. Couldn't have asked for more, loved every minute of our week in this part of Sicily. Easy walking distance to the great local restaurants even though it was a bit of a climb, but the distance was short.

Even better than the photos

We were a little hesitant to book a place in Sicily online. We came across this unit when searching Catania. The photos do not do it justice. The unit was beautiful and comfortable. Jano and Giuseppe met us and made sure everything was explained. The fresh fruit and homemade wine were delightful and we enjoyed them very much. The view from the terrace is famtastic. Being able to cook in a fully equipped kitchen and do laundry helped keep expenses down. Great base of operations to see Syracuse, Taormina and Etna. You'll love it here.

The accomodation was superb, well equipped. We found all what we needed. Kitchen and bathroom had all neccesary things (such as enough glasses, spoons coffee machine etc.). As we landed at midnight, we very happy that very late check-in was possible. Even we got as a welcoming present bottle of Sicilian wine and bowl of fruits. Higher impression from accomodation we had when we firstly stayed on terrace. We had fantastic evenings with beautyful sea view from both terraces. View from sleeping room was also marvelous. Corner window allows to see the sunrise and sea directly from bed. Small stone beach and local grocery shops were 20 min by walk from house. We reccomend to rent a car (small one is possible to park next to house) and disover Sicilian towns such as Taormina and Syrakusy.

Contact with owners was easy and meeting up to obtain keys, etc was spot on as Giuseppe lives below. Both hosts were delightful and the accommodation was immaculate and exactly as described on Web. A welcome gift of a bowl of fruit and Jano' s excellent homemade Red wine was a surprise. Everything necessary was provided and we really enjoyed our stay, enabling us to explore the local area and further afield in Sicily. Acitrezza is a busy area at this time of summer but this added to the enjoyment as all the eateries were buzzing. Everywhere we went, we were made most welcome and the food superb. The apartment is situated on a hillside, up a narrow winding road, above the main coast road making access a little challenging, with parked cars and traffic. The property is behind electronic gates and parking is behind a further set of gates only suitable for a small car. Overall, our experience with the apartment was above reproach and we had a wonderful time there

L’alloggio si trova in un contesto molto tranquillo, ideale per chi desidera un po’ di pace anche nei mesi piú richiesti. L’accoglienza, la premura e la disponibilità di Giuseppe ci hanno meravigliosamente colpiti: la descrizione dell’immobile, la funzionalità delle utenze e l’attenzione (presente ma mai invadente) durante il nostro soggiorno sono stati impeccabili. L’appartamento si presenta pulito e molto accurato. Dall’incantevole terrazza si possono ammirare i Faraglioni di Aci Trezza e la Riviera dei Ciclopi. Porterò con me un bellissimo ricordo di questo posto!

Die eigentlichen Vermieter, Giszeppe und Jano, sind absolut freundlich, hilfsbereit, 24/7 erreichbar und gut aufgelegt. Die Kommunikation in englisch klappte gut. Eine absolut gastfreundschaftliche Geste war die Begrüßung mit Südfrüchten und Rotwein aus eigener Herstellung. Das Apartment ist mit allem ausgestattet, was notwendig ist (oder wir als solches erachten). Küche mit Gasherd und Backofen, alles einwandfrei und supersauber. Vom Topf bis zum Esslöffel ist alles ausreichend für zwei Personen vorhanden. Die Terrassen und der Ausblick über die Bucht von Capo Mulini bis zu den Zyklopeninseln "vor der Haustür" sind einfach nur fantastisch und haben uns zu längeren, für uns ungewöhnlichen, Aufenthalten im eigenen Haus veranlasst. Es gibt eine verschließbare Parkmöglichkeit für Pkw, wobei es mit einem SUV (den wir als Mietwagen hatten) etwas Kreativität und Mut beim Einparken erfordert. Den Pkw haben wir oft genutzt, Ausflüge nach Messina, Taormina, Agrigent, Noto und und und... SUPER!

Giuseppe and Jano made us welcome in person, and had provided bottled water, home made wine (unbelievably good) and the most delicious blood oranges and lemons from the garden. They could not do enough for us! The property would be hard to find but their directions meant we found it easily. A car is necessary for stays here but it is worth it - quiet and comfortable with amazing views from the patio and roof garden. Thank you both for letting us stay here!

Schöne Ferienwohnung in toller Lage

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung mit einem fantastischen Ausblick. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und haben uns zur Wohnung und Ort alles super erklärt. Die Wohnung entspricht der Beschreibung und die beiden Terrassen laden zum Verweilen ein. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenhalt!

Die Unterkunft &das Anwesen waren sehr sauber & gepflegt. Guiseppe(wohnt im unteren Teil des Hauses) war sofort hilfsbereit & konnte zusammen mit Jano lokale Tipps geben. Ein Checkin nach 22:00 war problemlos möglich& wir wurden mit lokalen Früchten empfangen. Beide Terrassen gehören zu der Wohnung & dank des Sonnenschirmes konnte man gut auf der Terrasse verweilen & die tolle Aussicht genießen. Wir empfehlen eine Reise nach Sizilien außerhalb des Monats Juli und August, da wir teilweise bis zu 47° hatten. Die Klimaanlage befindet sich im Wohnbereich & kühlt das Schlafzimmer leider nicht ab (es steht ein kleiner Ventilator bereit) Die Ortschaft Aci trezza liegt ca.25 min von Catania entfernt & bietet einige Restaurants. Ein Supermarkt ist im nächsten Ort ca. 5 min mit dem Auto entfernt. Es ist zu empfehlen sich ein kleines Auto (wegen der Einfahrt) zu mieten,um die Gegend zu erkunden. Das Wifi war super & reichte auch zum Arbeiten auf der unteren Terrasse. Wir kommen gerne wieder :)
