"Cabin is very pretty 2 bathrooms the queen bed was very comfortable we slept very well. Indoor wood burning stove works really well. We used it when lights went out a few hours. Owner came to greet us and to help with power outage. Had a very comfortable stay. I highly recommend this place close to some absolutely beautiful places and restaurants. "

"For anyone who is looking for some solitude on the ADK, I would highly recommend Baker Cabin. The hosts were extremely pleasant and helped to make sure our stay was everything we wanted. It is in the perfect location; a hop and a skip away from Lake Placid and the mountains. After a long hike, you can unwind and relax in the hot tub and I personally dont think it could get any better. "

Our host was incredible to communicate with, checking in before and during our stay. The homemade treats and lights on for our arrival made us feel right at home. "This was a perfect cozy escape for our weekend in Saratoga. Just off the beaten path, but close enough to downtown. Charming, rustic but definitely nicely appointed and clean accommodations. Secluded wooded surroundings. Plenty of comfortable seating inside and out. The host made us feel very welcome by leaving treats for our dog as well as for us too. "Could have been a 5 star rating but:1. we had to shovel 5 inches of snow from walkway and deck to get in the house2. Very small amount of toilet paper. Had to go to the store the first evening we arrived. 3. The request to leave an empty dishwater, beds stripped, garbage removed AND to take with us, and floors vacuumed and swept was a bit much. The house is very cute, comfortable and in close proximity to everywhere we wanted to go. "

"I've been spending our annual "family" week throughout the Adirondack Park every year for the past decade. This particularly stay was enhanced by a well organized and efficiently designed cabin with extremely comfortable accommodations.The modern bathrooms (3 full and a 4th half bathroom) were a plus for our family of 8. The exterior recreation area was no exception, with kayaks, canoe, dock, fire pit, picnic table and seating all in a close-knit outdoor area with multiple levels. Beautiful...
