Poor Communication
I originally booked for 3 days about a month before my reservation date within the refund dates I informed by email the owner that I was not coming in till the 2nd day making it a 2 day reservation. He responded by email fine we will see you on that date. About a week before my stay i received an email stating the original 3 day stay. I reached out by email and he now says yes you can come in the next day but there is no refund. We argued back and forth but he would not refund the one night and at that point I could not cancel. 2 days before my stay he gave me a phone number to call for the key holder I asked him to call or email him and gave him my arrival info. He followed up by saying he couldn’t do that it was my responsibility. I asked for an email and never got one and again explained I don’t have a phone plan for France. I did not hear anything further the check in day came and went and still to now no one has reached out to me. I obviously did not make the 5 hour train journey not knowing how I would get in.
He ruined my vacation and I had to rebook another stay somewhere else.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND this owner. Lack of communication and a dishonest one at that.
