I was surprised I had to climb up the hill for 16 min from the train station as I walked with my luggage to get to the property. You really don’t know that you have to walk up the hill from Google map. I wouldn’t have chosen this place if I had known it. Agrigento has lots of stairs and slopes to be sure, still there are places closer from the station. The room I stayed didn’t have daylight when I first entered it. I thought there was no window the first day because the shutter was closed. Isn’t it weird? It was the second day I realized there was one.

Top Notch B&B

When checking in Aldo (owner) took the time to show us on his computer where to eat and how to get to and from the places we were going to visit. He also took us to our room and explained everything from how to get into the place, room, run the elevator, A/C and where the breakfast was going to be. He also asked if we wanted anything special for breakfast. We were there for 2 nights and every day he and I assume his wife always asked if everything was ok and if we needed anything. WE stayed in about 6 or 7 B&B's on this trip and this one was by far the BEST. Would rate it a 10.

Very nice B&B close to old town

This is a really nice B&B. The owner, Aldo, goes out of his way to help you on where to go and what to see and how to get there. The breakfast is amazing. We had a nice patio. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. We had to leave a day early and the owner was so worried that we were not happy there, but we were. The only (small) issue that we had was that it was difficult to find. We had to get help from a local to get us there. The facility was modern, clean and even had an elevator. Would stay again.

Fantastic Host

Aldo the host is a wonderful friendly and welcoming gentleman. He cannot do enough to make sure his guests have everything they need and know how to get to the Valley of the Temples. The room had complimentary local wine, biscotti and water. Most welcome. Breakfast is a lovely continental spread with great service. My room on level -1 did not have a window but that was not a problem for me. The wifi works great. The property is on top of the hill so not walkable from the station with heavy luggage.

Consigliatissimo!!!
