The house is very large (600m2). It allows us to welcome you with maximum comfort while respecting your privacy. We have set up several places (indoor dining room, tables in front of the pool and outdoor dining room at the back of the house) to allow you to take your meals in peace.
The same goes for relaxing in the shade or in the sun.
We are a guest house and we never privatize our house
The rooms are very comfortable. An extra bed can be installed in the family suites, for a total of 12 beds.
You will find large closets to store your clothes and sofas to rest on.
The bathrooms are private and include a walk-in shower, a sink and a toilet. You will find towels, bathrobes and shower gel and shampoo products based on argan oil.
The swimming pool is accessible to young and old. Large terraces allow you to relax in complete peace.
The common areas such as the bar, the swimming pool, the TV lounge, are accessible to all. Bicycles (2 mountain bikes for men and women), golf bags, buoys, card games are at your disposal.
The owners live on the ground floor and are at your disposal to advise you on your visits, the good addresses. The house staff can prepare meals for you at your convenience and according to the products available.
We are in the middle of the Argan trees, a tree endemic to Morocco. The villagers of the douar are mostly Berbers, smiling and very welcoming. Life here is calm and peaceful, very quiet.
Ghazoua, the nearest town is 5km away. You can find everything you need to cook there.
A Société Générale ATM is right next to the supermarket.
A little further 8 km away, the Mogador golf course is located in the town of Diabat.
At 12km, you will find the first beaches of Essaouira and its surfing or kite surfing schools.
A car is not mandatory but necessary. It costs 30 euros to rent a Logan type vehicle per day.
In town, the fare (3 people) in a "small" taxi is 0.8 € per day and 1 € in the evening.
To get to town, you have to use public transport ("large" taxi and bus) for 1.5 € per person.
If you privatize a "large taxi" (6 people), it will cost you 15 € per trip.
Dar Alid is a guesthouse that cannot be privatized. I live on site and am at your disposal to advise you, guide you or prepare your meals.
