Très bon séjour

La maison est comme sur les photos, très bien entretenue ! Il faut noté qu’il n’y a que le rez de chaussé qui est dédié aux locataires et que l’étage est occupé par la propriétaire. Ceci n’a pas été dérangeant pour nous mais au contraire très pratique car elle passe récupérer les poubelles et ramener des bidons d’eau lorsque nous en avons besoin. L’emplacement est idéal, très calme et isolé mais il y a quand même pas mal de commerces a proximité (environ 10min). Tout s’est bien passé, merci beaucoup !

Maison place à cinq minutes de Gérone et de l autoroute permettant de se déplacer rapidement sur la Catalogne. La propriétaire vous indiquera restaurant et lieu à visiter dans la région. Rien ne manque dans la maison comme c est décrit dans l l’annonce. Vous aurez à disposition deux frigos dont un à l extérieur près du barbecue très pratique. La piscine est très agréable. Il y a juste des passages d avions mais pas gênant durant le séjour.

A really good place in the country.

The pool is wonderful. Being salt filtered it never stung our eyes and the youngsters in particular practically lived in the water! The house was huge with 3 double bedrooms for adults and a large room with 4 single beds!, mainly for the young ones. There was another room with 2 single beds but to access that you had to go through the 4 bedroom room, though this had its own attached large bathroom with both a bath and shower. The house was really well equipped but the owners who were very discreet living on the first floor were always available to offer anything. They never came into our area of the grounds, which were enormous, without being asked. The other delight was the BBQ area for outdoor cooking with plenty of free wood available. The only down sides were the flies at time but you’re living in the countryside and the noise from the planes as they passed overhead as the end of the runway was only half a km away. We sort of got used to that and marvelled at thes machines flying so low. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Can Guinau. Nous avons apprécié le calme du lieu, la piscine à l'écart de la maison. Les chambres étaient très bien. Le coin barbecue était bien aménagé. Nous avons apprécié la proximité de Gérone , un peu moins les avions de Ryan air. Si nous devions revenir, ce serait avec plaisir. A. et F.

Just Beautiful

We have just returned to Ireland after a wonderful and relaxing two weeks in Can Guinau . Our two families 4 adults 8 children aged between 8 -16 years loved the property and its location. The villa, pool and grounds were spacious and superbly maintained by Marta and her family. We found the location just perfect for enjoying golf , trips to Barcelona ,Camp Nou ,Pals and the various beaches of the Costa Brava . We also visited the Dali Museum in Figures . This is the fifth time our family has used Home away.co.uk successfully . We have enjoyed holidays in Portugal, Italy and France however both our families agree that Can Guinau is our favourite . Marta made us feel very welcome and looked after our every need . Thanks again Marta , hopefully we'll meet again ! Edel The Gill and McCarthy families ,Ireland
