In contrast, there was quite a noticeable difference in attitude compared to the staff at the hotel shuttle point (parking area). If you are not renting a car, I would recommend booking the hotel’s tour packages directly. The shuttle point is some distance from Wadi Rum village (about a 20-minute drive), and the transfer from the shuttle point(parking area) to the hotel itself...

「That was one of the worst nights I ever spent in a camp. The room was smelly, and they refused to change it even when I offered to pay, instead they provided an air perfume which didn't help much TBH. And the dinner was awful, options were poor and taste bad, specially the main dish, Zarb! This night ruined our trip!」

「Service was phenomenal. They offer activities and dinner through the hotel. Mohammed was our driver for the jeep tour and he was super friendly and funny. Hussan was very welcoming and helpful. Overall an amazing place to stay with friendly staff. Rooms weren’t as clean as they could have been , but it was still spectacular with great views. 」

「We booked a Bubble Tent… We did not get communication from this Mirage camp at all and had to track them down and had to have an Arabic speaker try to find this Mirage camp because the phone number on hotels.com/expedia was wrong. When we were finally given a pin drop to know where to go through WhatsApp of how to find the camp we were sent to a different camp called Hasan Zawaideh. In contrast, there was quite a noticeable difference in attitude compared to the staff at the hotel shuttle point (parking area). If you are not renting a car, I would recommend booking the hotel’s tour packages directly. The shuttle point is some distance from Wadi Rum village (about a 20-minute drive), and the transfer from the shuttle point(parking area) to the hotel itself takes around 15 minutes. By booking the hotel’s tours, you can better coordinate your schedule with the main attractions and the stargazing activities, while also reducing the time spent traveling back and forth between the hotel, shuttle point, and other locations. The hotel facilities themselves are quite good. However, due to maintenance and environmental factors, the property does not appear as new or as pristine as it does in the photos. Overall, though, the hotel is still in good condition."
