"Unfortunately we had a bad expu our original booking in Payaller Alanya. Thankfully Hotels.com found us another villa and we ended up staying here at Ottoman Villas. The villa was super and we enjoyed our stay there. It was around 30 minutes from Alanya so we had to travel by taxi to explore the touristic areas of Alanya. "

However the villa is so beautiful, the views amazing, but some of the furniture and bed linen could do with upgrading. The only issue we had was the stairs, I counted over 200 stairs to get up to the villa which was a real challenge especially with heavy luggage. "We enjoyed the villa but there were a few little problems worth noting for other people. There are water problems in Avsallar which affected us - we lost water for a few hours on a couple of occasions so you need bottled water. We also had a power cut because of faulty wiring in the villa that happened when we were away, and unfortunately we had to throw away two days of refrigerated food as a result. "The property was not located in Alanya as per the address on our booking. The villa is located on the top of a hill, in The Mahmutlar area. The road to the villla is unsafe, with poor visibility, surrounded by construction and rubbish. Lots of ants inside the villa, we got bitten many times. It’s located on a very steep area and far away from the amenities of the resort, you need to walk up a hill for about 20 minutes. Our air conditioner didn’t work, we complained many times. "The hotel is located in a quiet spot, which was a great advantage for us (central Alanya looks more like a market and is busy and noisy). The room was in perfect condition and was cleaned regularly. Bottled water was provided every day. Selection of food was good, maybe not as diverse as in more expensive hotels but there were always several options for mains and a lot of sides.
